Overview The Fletcher School is the United States' first professional graduate school of international affairsSince 1933 Fletcher's multi-disciplinary education in international relations, law, and business, has prepared the world's leaders to become innovative problem-solvers in government, private sector, and non-governmental organizationsThe Fletcher School seeks to fulfill its mission in the most environmentally sensible way possibleWe are also committed to increasing the diversity of our administrative staff and we support work-life balanceMembers of under-represented groups are strongly encouraged to applyWhat You'll Do The Administrative Coordinator performs a wide range of complex activities that support the business operations and administration of the Office of Academic AffairsThe Coordinator directly supports the Academic Dean and acts as a central source of information and problem solving for the departmentThis is fast-paced environment and the individual will handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyUnder minimal supervision, the Administrative Coordinator provides advanced administrative support and coordinates operations for the departmentHandles complex and confidential situations, resolves problems, and serves in a highly visible capacity as a primary resource for students, staff, faculty, and other constituentsThe Administrative Coordinator will do the following:
o Coordinate multiple calendars, schedule complex meetings, and arrange logistics that may include external groups/constituents.
o Oversee daily operations of the Office of Academic Affairs and provide administrative support to other Fletcher departments as assigned; oversee services from university departments to ensure technology, facilities, procurement, and other needs are met.
o Coordinate plans and logistics for meetings, projects, and larger scale events including but not limited to:
handling of marketing and publicity, coordination of venue, arranging catering, communication with speakers, making of travel arrangements, and oversight of setup and breakdownTrack project timelines and deliverables.
o Make purchases, initiate requisitions, reconcile expenses, and request payment of invoicesPrepare expense reports, request reimbursements of 3rd party expenses, and monitor and track expendituresResearch and resolve problems and assist in compiling financial reportsAssist with assigned projections and work with department/unit leadership as neededMay assist with monitoring expenses and other activities on grants and contracts.
o Produce and edit complex documents, reports, spreadsheets, and material for presentations.
o Respond to routine correspondence.
o Prepare meeting agendas and minutesWhat We're Looking For Basic Requirements:
o High school diploma and 5
years of administrative experience or college degree and 3
years of experienceo Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suiteo Ability to monitor financial transactionso Strong organizational and interpersonal skillso Problem solving and critical thinking skillso Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedureso Highly professional while working productively and independently on projects/assignmentso Ability to work independently with limited supervisiono Ability to make coherent and appropriate decisions in a timely mannero Strong work ethic--commits to integrity and performs duties with diligenceo Detail orientedo Ability to take initiativeo Ability to maintain confidentiality Preferred
Qualifications:
o BA/BS attained from an accredited institutiono Knowledge of Tufts Systemso Knowledge of basic finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures a pluso Knowledge of contracting process and associated local, state, federal, and other regulations Pay Range Minimum $26.
40, Midpoint $31.
40, Maximum $36.
40 Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
