Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our team.
The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and managing the staffing schedules for our Nurses and CNAS.
This position requires previous experience in a skilled nursing environment and a strong understanding of scheduling principles.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
Coordinate with department managers to understand staffing needs and priorities.
Manage employee time-off requests and schedule adjustments.
Communicate effectively with staff regarding scheduling changes and updates.
Monitor and track attendance, lateness, and overtime.
Address scheduling conflicts and make necessary adjustments to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Collaborate with HR to onboard new staff and maintain up-to-date employee records.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in a skilled nursing environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Proficiency in scheduling software.
Attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling.
