Our client is looking for a Database Administrator to join their team.
Job Description:
Design, administer and support current and future database development and methodologies. Proactively evaluate the physical and logical design of databases to support our dynamic and growing business needs. Duties include: database backup, database recovery, performance tuning, data integrity, database replication, security administration and modeling of new and existing databases.
oAssume primary responsibility for the setup and maintenance of our internal SQL Server databases.
oPerform routine maintenance and performance tuning on user databases, supporting web transactions, client-server apps and the data warehouse.
oMonitor for performance issues.
Create, test and document custom stored procedures and jobs as required.
oServe as data gatekeeper for backend modification to data in all SQL Server systems
oManage and perform backup/restore and replication of databases for data recovery and testing.
oProduce specifications, entity relationship diagrams and data maps as needed for technical documentation.
oIdentify and apply appropriate service packs and updates.
oEmploy SQL Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, or comparable utilities to monitor server and query processes to assess and optimize databases.
oAssist with the evaluation of new versions of SQL Server and migration of older systems to current versions of SQL Server.
oAdminister and monitor all database profiles and security.
oAssist development team with creating efficient queries, stored procedures, jobs, etc.
oWork closely with the IT department as a whole to proactively meet SQL Server needs for the business.
oWork with the Applications and Technical Services team to ensure all systems are configured properly to host SQL databases, both prior to purchase and prior to deployment.
oEnsure that all applications, databases, and systems comply with state, local and federal security and privacy rules, including HIPAA and Massachusetts Privacy Law.
oMaintain professional and positive relationship with database services partner.
Requirements:
oBachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or 3 to 5 equivalent experience
o5 to 8 years of proven Database Administration experience using Microsoft SQL Server or other RDBMS solutions.
oSQL Server database experience must encompass: Architecture, Database Design, Referential Integrity concepts, Replication, Mirroring, Security design, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and SQL
oServer Integration Services (SSIS).
oMust have a thorough knowledge and understanding of SQL via queries and Stored Procedures.
oA minimum of 18 months of SQL Scripting.
oAn excellent team player with a professional attitude.
oGoal-oriented.
oAbility to work in a fast-paced deadline intensive environment.
oSolid communication and time management skills.
oExtreme attention to detail. Error-free results are critical.
oExtreme comfort in Windows integrated environments, including server OS, server products, active directory, security policy, Powershell, .Net framework and Visual Studios.
oKnowledge of VB, ASP, and XML.
oExperience with Oracle or other variants of RDBMS
oPrevious healthcare experience
oHands-on Data Warehousing experience.
oMCTS or other related certificationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
